I have posted some early examples of my first designs, I am trying to focus on the typography and layout rather than the illustrations. So far these are looking good but I need to create more to see if it works on different pages.
Continuing on this project I created some layout ideas for pages of my comic book design, at this point they are only roughs and have a range of story lines and characters.
Ive started a new project based on comics and typography, this will be building on my last comic book project, but this time I will be approaching it from a different angle. I want to focus on hand drawn type and illustrations rather than digital, so far I have created some ideas and layouts using type and image. Below are just some pictures of my first drawings to research and practice different comic book styles.
